HexWorld
Hex-based procedural terrain, including an algorithm to create procedural river systems and biomes. GPU-based shaders used to show rivers, waterfalls, lakes and ocean.
To navigate the terrain:
Left/Right/Up/Down: move
Q/E: rotate
</>: zoom
(It takes significant mathematics to compute the hex-based terrain, so there will be a delay of a few seconds before the 3d world becomes visible).
